USCIS fee calculator

This free calculator totals the current USCIS filing fees plus biometric fees for any combination of immigration forms. Pick a preset bundle (such as a marriage-based green card) or tick individual forms, and choose online or paper filing. For example, an adjustment-of-status green-card bundle of I-485 + I-765 + I-131 totals about $2,540 in standard USCIS fees (filing I-765 alongside a pending I-485 can reduce that). It does not include attorney, medical, or State Department visa fees.

How it works

The calculator adds the published USCIS filing fee for each form you select, plus any biometric services fee, and switches between the online and paper rate. Nothing is sent to a server — the maths runs in your browser. Amounts come from the official USCIS fee schedule and are current as of June 2026.

Important: the total is a baseline. It uses standard fees and does not apply reduced fees (e.g. the I-485 child rate or N-400 reduced fee), fee waivers (Form I-912), or H.R. 1 surcharges, and it excludes attorney fees, the medical exam, the State Department MRV visa fee and the Visa Integrity Fee. Read each form's page for the exemptions and tiers that may change your real cost.

Frequently asked questions

Is the USCIS fee calculator free?

Yes. It runs entirely in your browser, with no sign-up and no data sent to a server. It simply adds up the published USCIS filing fees for the forms you select.

Does the calculator include the I-485 child discount or fee waivers?

No. It uses the standard published filing fee for each form. Reduced fees (such as the I-485 child-under-14 rate, the N-400 reduced fee, or a Form I-912 waiver) and H.R. 1 surcharges are described on each form's page and are not auto-applied here.

Does this total include attorney or State Department fees?

No. The total covers USCIS filing fees plus biometric fees only. It does not include attorney fees, medical exams, translation, the State Department MRV visa fee, or the new Visa Integrity Fee.
